2. Understanding Points

ShanKoeMee uses a 0-to-9 point system based on the last digit of the card total. A = 1, cards 2 through 9 keep their face value, and 10/J/Q/K = 0. For example, 7 + 8 = 15 counts as 5 points.

For detailed card values and hand combinations, see ShanKoeMee Academy — Card Values.

Low points

Hands scoring 0 to 4 are weak. Deciding whether to draw a third card is critical at this range.

Middle points

Hands scoring 5 to 7 can go either way depending on room conditions and the banker compare.

AutoShan

A score of 8 or 9 is the strongest hand. In most cases no third card is drawn and the result stands.

3. Round Flow

  1. Enter a table and check the room type and betting limits
  2. Select your bet amount
  3. Each player and the banker receive 2 cards
  4. If neither side has AutoShan, follow the third-card rule
  5. The banker compares hands and results are revealed
  6. Win/loss amounts are settled and the next round begins
